Trevor's Response

Dear Jake, My book is called Big Red by Jim Kjelgarrd. This book is about a boy named Danny, Danny was helping a rich man get his bull back when Danny found the bull but it was dead the great bear Majesty had ripped it open so Danny got the rest of the meat. Danny went to Mr.Haggins where he saw a dog and he really liked the dog so Mr.Haggin told Danny that he could take care of the dog if he made him strong and beautiful. Danny accepted so he went home with Red after training of course at first his dad Ross did not approve at first because he already had four dogs’ three pups and one older hound finally Danny convinced his dad to let him keep the dog. Red almost dies. I liked the book because there was hunting and hunting interests me because my cousins and uncle go hunting about every month that they can so that is something that helps us talk about books. Jake this book is the right one for you I now that you like hunting so this is the right book for you because I think you could relate to Danny in the story. The author likes to write about adventure because he said that the wolverine came down the chimney and attacked. You never know when something bad or scary comes. I rate this book a 10 out of 10 because the author did a good job in placing the parts of the book and it also made you think what will happen what’s in the chimney. Reading this book showed me you have to work towards your goals to achieve stuff and to never give up and showed me that you have to work towards your goals. Sincerely, Trevor
